Mr. Henkelmann, Faculty Advisor
I am the faculty advisor for our school paper, theĀ Riverhawk Review. I have been teaching since 2012, and I had taught journalism for five of the six years I worked at Shoshone High School. I started teaching here at Canyon Ridge in 2018 and have been running the newspaper with an amazing team since 2022. I am absolutely thrilled to be working on a newspaper, and I thoroughly enjoy seeing students produce meaningful work they care about. My wife and I have two kids: Lucy, who attends Rock Creek Elementary, and Theodore, who was recently born and we named after President Theodore Roosevelt. I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, and birding, and topics I care a great deal about are public land issues and biodiversity.
