Finding an affordable restaurant within walking distance of Canyon Ridge High School is challenging. It is even more complicated if the place you’re hoping to find offers an open enough environment to truly make the experience your own. The Sodamix, hidden away from the other food chains across the school, has each of these qualities, accompanied by a friendly smile every time you walk in the door. 

   The restaurant is adorned in cookie themed decorations, with booths that are always clean and three arcade game machines in the corner for students to play while waiting for their orders.

Since I began going there with my friend, we’ve had our orders taken by multiple workers each time we’ve gone, and each interaction has left me even more excited to return. The prices are affordable and cheaper than other soda shops in the area, making it all the better for students like myself. 

The menu is filled with a myriad of drink selections ranging from soda to energy drinks to flavored water, named cleverly after popular cult movies, with a few food options like their buttery soft pretzels and seasonal cookies. The mood is always uplifting, making it the perfect place to sit in incredibly comfortable booths while you drink your soda and eat your cookies.
